Criteria for consideration for the scholarship

The James Ryan and Harrison Foundation is dedicated to helping children in our community reach their full potential through sports and the arts. Our scholarships are designed to remove financial barriers and open doors for kids who have the drive, heart, and passion to participate — but may need a little extra support to make it possible.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be under the age of 18
Must be a Georgia resident living in Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton, or surrounding areas
Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
Adhere to school attendance policies and demonstrate good school behavior
Show academic achievement and financial need
Exhibit a clear passion and commitment to their chosen sport or activity
Be enrolled or seeking enrollment with a local team, coach, studio, or school
How It Works:
Scholarship funds are distributed directly to the child’s coach, team, studio, or school to cover program fees, uniforms, shoes, and necessary equipment.
How to Apply:
Complete the online application form below.
Include a brief essay or video from the child describing why they love their sport or activity.
Attach a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, or community member.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and selected recipients will be notified by email.
